Liked this free pattern but would like a fully written tutorial with step by step photos to make a shark? The shark backpack pattern is the big brother to the free shark pencil case and it comes with full step by step colour photos, SVGs for cutting machines, a projector file and of course a video tutorial too!

  1. I love the shark pencil case video and end product! Would love to make some for my grandchildren. When I clicked on the pattern link, it said it was no longer available. Cann I find it somewhere else? TIA!

  2. Hello:
I canโ€™t get the link to work for the whale shark Pencil pouch pattern. Could you send it to me? I watched your instruction video and would like to make one
    Thanks,
    Janet

  3. Hi Emma, could you confirm seam allowance for the fins and tail on the shark pencil case please. The body states 1cm but that seems too much for the other components.
Many thanks for your free pattern and great tutorial.

    1. Hi Maggie, apologies for the delay. I did use 1cm seam allowance but you can use whatever you like if you’d prefer a little bigger fins ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for your comment, Emma

    1. Apologies I think the link was broken – its working now. Thanks for commenting ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait to see your shark.

  4. Hi Emma,

  5. Hi, Emma. I’m sorry to say your shark pencil case link is once again not working. I receive an error code 404, a bad link or invalid URL. I’m looking forward to making this for all the little boys in my family, and maybe the little girls too. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with the rest of us!

  6. Hi, Emma. I signed up for your newsletter and received the shark pencil case pattern in your first, welcome email. Please disregard my earlier comment about the above links not working, I no longer need them. Thank you again for your generosity and sharing your creativity with us!

  7. Hi Emma
I tried to print the pattern on 81/2 x 11 inch paper but it’s too small. should I use legal size paper? 81/2 x 14″

    thanks
    Susan
