The 24 Days of Bag Making Box is Back for 2026: The UK's Sewing Advent Calendar for Bag Makers
We were the first in the Uk to bring out a sewing advent calendar made just for bag makers, and this year we are thrilled to bring you the 5th edition of The 24 days of bag making box.
If you have followed Studio 7t7 for a while you will know that this bag making advent calendar has become something of a tradition and amongst all the thousands of subscription boxes we have shipped all over the world, our advent box in 2021 was the very fist box we curated.
Since then, every year we have sold out and I was already being asked in May if we were going to create one this year!
What is the 24 Days of Bag Making Box?
Designed for bag makers, by a bag maker, this is the only sewing advent calendar of its kind in the UK. Inside, you will find 24 individually wrapped gifts, each one numbered so you can open them in order, one glorious surprise at a time.
Some people open one a day right through December, others save the whole advent box for Christmas morning… and then some can;t wait and tear into every parcel the moment it arrives!! However you choose to open yours, the joy is in the surprise.

What's inside the bag making advent calendar?
While every item is a surprise, you can expect to find a beautiful mix of bag making supplies including:
- Bag making hardware, from rivets to lobster clasps and D rings
- Zipper tape, ranging from beautiful plain designs to extra special printed editions.
- Zipper pull chosen to match, including exclusive designs and unique shapes
- Hard to find sewing notions nd hardware you won’t find elsewhere
- Sewing labels exclusive to the box
- Bag making fabric, always more than 2 rolls per box whether thats faux leather, waterproof canvas or bonded nylon
Please note there are no Christmas themed items and we never include copyrighted designs (eg. Disney, Marvel etc).
Is the advent box a kit?
This box is not a kit. We do not include a pattern and that is very much intentional. Every item inside is chosen to coordinate beautifully. From the hardware to the fabric colours and patterns… but the sewing pattern you choose to sew is entirely up to you. That means even though other bag makers are opening the exact same box, your finished bag will be uniquely yours.
This year's advent box prizes
We always love adding a little extra magic to the boxes and this year is no exception.
- The first 25 orders will receive a free printed bag making pattern.
- 25 prizes will be placed randomly throughout he boxes, anything from coupons for supplies to extra hardware and printed patterns.
- 7t7 Club members receive an extra mystery gift inside – just use the code found in the club portal.

Pricing and shipping for the 2026 sewing advent calendar
Early bird pricing is £130, with UK shipping included against an RRP of around £160. Boxes will ship at the beginning of November and you will receive an email as soon as yours is on its way.
If you are in the EU or USA, please note we are currently unable to ship to these regions. You are welcome to have your box sent to a UK address or a friend who can forward it on to you.
The prefect gift for a bag maker or sewist
Whether you are treating yourself or buying a gift for a bag making friend, this advent calendar makes a wonderful Christmas gift for sewists. You do not even need to wrap the contents, as every parcel inside is individually wrapped and ready to delight!
