The advent calendar for bag makers...
Day 15 brings another length of webbing, matching the beautiful purple and pink stripe you discovered earlier in the box. This time it is 1.5″ (38mm) webbing as opposed to 1″ (25mm).
It is always useful to have extra webbing, but in this case it is especially intentional.
Different bag patterns call for different widths of webbing. Including a second (wider) length means you now have enough to complete a full project without needing to source more.
It also gives you the freedom to experiment. You might use one piece as handles and the other as a feature strap. Or you might save it for a coordinating pouch or second bag.
The wide 1.5″ (38mm) size is comfortable on the shoulder and adds a bold, colourful statement to any design. The purple and pink stripes echo earlier days of the calendar, which helps you build a cohesive set of materials without worrying about mismatched tones or dye lots.
The whole point is to make planning your next project feel easier, not more complicated.
Webbing is one of those supplies that disappears faster than you expect. And I know this this colour way will be popular, so figured adding in a second length at a different width would most probably be welcomed.
Now you have the right width of webbing what ever project you choose to create from this box!
